RANCANG BANGUN MESIN PERAJANG BAWANG DENGAN KAPASITAS 50 KG/JAM

Abstract


ABSTRAK
Semakin meningkatnya berbagai olahan makanan, produsen bawang goreng dituntut untuk lebih mampu memenuhi kebutuhan UKM dan pasar yang semakin meningkat. Penggunaan alat atau mesin dalam proses produksi bawang goreng dirasa sangat penting guna menunjang kebutuhan pasar tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendesain sebuah mesin perajang bawang dengan kapasitas 50 Kg/jam.
Metode yang digunakan dalam proses perancangan ini meliputi analisa kebutuhan, konsep desain, perancangan dan perhitungan, proses manufaktur dan hasil pengujian.
Dalam perhitungan mesin perajang ini di peroleh untuk kebutuhan putaran pengirisan sebesar 1338 Rpm dan gaya putar pisau sebesar 1314 N. Sistem transmisi daya menggunakan pulley kecil diameter 51 mm dan pulley besar diameter 254 mm. Sabuk V pada mesin perajang tipe A-30. Diameter poros mesin perajang 25 mm dengan material ss304, type bantalan 6205. Hasil dari pengujian didapatkan hasil 50 Kg/jam dengan pisau pemotong 3 bilah, didapatkan ketebalan potongan sebesar 1,4 mm.

ABSTRACT
With the increasing variety of processed foods, fried onion producers are required to be better able to meet the needs of SMEs and the increasing market. The use of tools or machines in the fried onion production process is considered very important to support the needs of the market. The purpose of this research is to design an onion chopper machine with a capacity of 50 Kg/hour.
The methods used in this design process include requirements analysis, design concepts, design and calculations, manufacturing processes and test results.
In the calculation of this chopper machine, it is obtained for the need for slicing rotation of 1338 Rpm and blade rotational force of 1314 N. The power transmission system uses a small pulley with a diameter of 51 mm and a large pulley with a diameter of 254 mm. V-belt on the A-30 type chopper. The shaft diameter of the chopper machine is 25 mm with ss304 material, bearing type 6205. The results of the test are 50 Kg/hour with a 3 blade cutting knife, the thickness of the cut is 1.4 mm.
