Abstract


This research identifies language errors in the field of syntax when fourth grade students at SD Negri I Ketileng write essays and analyzes the forms of language errors in the field of syntax when fourth grade students at SD Negeri I Ketileng write essays. Explaining this type of research is qualitative research with a narrative approach. The data source for this research is the composition of grade 4 students at SD Negeri I Ketileng. The data is in the form of linguistic errors in the syntax area of the essay. The data collection techniques used in this research were observation and document study followed by the use of data recording methods. The results of research at SD Negeri I Ketileng regarding the analysis of phonetic errors in the field of syntax in writing compositions for grade 4 elementary school students can be divided into several aspects. [1] Sentences without a subject, [2] Sentences without a standard structure, [3] Excessive repetition of words, [4] Sentences with typos, [5] Sentences with errors in the use of foreign words..
