Analisis Tingkat Berpikir Kritis Mahasiswa Mata Kuliah ISBD Terintegrasi Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning

Abstract


21st Century learning requires students to be able to develop themselves through learning with critical thinking qualifications. This research aims to develop students' abilities to think critically in learning through the implementation of the problem-based learning model.

The research was carried out through research objects, namely students in basic social and cultural science classes at the geography education study program, FKIP, Pattimura University. Data was collected through observation, interviews and supported by non-test instruments. Next, a qualitative descriptive analysis was carried out.

Through the classroom action research method, it was found that students after applying the problem-based learning model in learning in cycle one had an average of 54.6% regarding critical thinking skills, and experienced an increase in cycle two, reaching 74.8%. This means that the application of the problem-based learning model is able to grow students' ability to think critically.
