Respondents in this study were active students who studied while working as many as 149 respondents from various universities. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The research instrument used a scale of student engagement, academic burnout, and parental support. The correlation coefficient of the three variables is 0.566 with a p value of 0.000 (p < 0.01) and an effective contribution of 32.1%, meaning that there is a very significant relationship between academic burnout and parental support with student engagement. The results of the first minor hypothesis test show that there is a highly significant negative relationship between academic burnout and student engagement with a correlation coefficient of -0.542 and a p value of 0.000 (p < 0.01). The results of the second minor hypothesis test also show a highly significant positive relationship between parental support and student engagement with a correlation coefficient of 0.465 and a p value of 0.001 (p < 0.01). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that between the variables of academic burnout and student engagement have a significant negative relationship. While between the variables parental support and student engagement have a significant positive relationship.
