Peer Review Process

Jurnal Prasasti Ilmu has a review policy for all submitted manuscripts. The process is as follows:

  1. The author submits the manuscript.
  2. The editor checks the manuscript for potential plagiarism using Turnitin software.
  3. The plagiarism check result determines whether the manuscript is ACCEPTED or REJECTED.
  4. The editor returns the manuscripts that passed the plagiarism check to the author via OJS to be revised according to the editor's instructions.
  5. The author returns the revised manuscript to the editor via OJS.
  6. The editor sends the manuscript to a reviewer for a double-blind review.
  7. The reviewer submits the review results to the editor to be forwarded to the author.
  8. The author revises the manuscript based on the reviewer's comments and suggestions and returns it to the editor.
  9. The copy editor checks the manuscript to ensure it aligns with the editorial board's policy.
  10. The proofreader checks the manuscript to ensure it conforms to the Indonesian Spelling System (EYD)
  11. The layout editor checks the manuscript to ensure it conforms to the journal's template and guidelines.
  12. The journal manager prepares the manuscript for publication according to the publishing period.

The review process takes four to eight weeks. Authors are requested to actively monitor the OJS and cooperate throughout the process.
