Analisis Deiksis Pidato Prabowo dalam Acara Rakornas Partai Amanat Nasional 2024

Abstract

This research focuses on analyzing deixis in Prabowo's speech at the 2024 National Coordination Meeting (Rakornas) of the Partai Amanat Nasional  (PAN). This research aims to identify and analyze the types of deixis used by Prabowo and provide a comprehensive picture of the use of deixis. The method used is descriptive qualitative with text analysis instruments from speech transcripts taken from the official PAN YouTube channel. The research subject is Prabowo's speech delivered in Jakarta and attended by PAN members and the public who followed via live broadcast, with one main speech lasting around 43 minutes as the analyzed data which focuses on the use of personal deixis, place, pointer, time, discourse, social . Through this research, it is hoped that it will be possible to reveal how word choice and use of deixis can influence the audience's understanding and interpretation of the speech and contribute to linguistic studies, especially in understanding the role of language in political communication, which means strengthening understanding of the importance of language in building political images and influencing opinions. public.
